Ruger Carbine .44 Mag Rifle(Pre-owned)
Ruger Carbine Rifle chambered in 44 mag. This bluing finish 18.25-inch barrel bore is bright and shiny. This 1978/1979 (Ruger marks it 1978 but noted sometimes they were produced out of sequence.) semi-auto was a centerfire rifle for deer hunting in dense wooded area. Now, this model was only produced from 1961-1985, due to cost of manufacturing this rifle was discontinued even then, they squeezed out a quarter million of these fine gas-operated rifles. This beautiful hardwood stock has some wear in it but was well maintained. The Bluing is faded in some areas and has a ‘mark’ on the top of the barrel but overall appears to be well kept and maintained. There is scratching on the magazine loading. Please refer to photos to get a better idea on the overall condition of the firearm. This firearm features a gold bead front sight while in back is a folding leaf sight. Additionally, Ruger drilled and tapped the receiver to make it scope-friendly. These modern rifles were the perfect “Father to Son/Daughter” rifle and long were sought after due to the dependability.
