An old hobby showing new life.

An old hobby showing new life.

If you're located in the Rush Country area or anywhere nearby, you are invited to swing through every Wednesday to enjoy some sportsmanship and camaraderie. Trap and skeet shooting has been a tradition for generations, and the Rush County Conservation Club is here to keep it alive and well. Over the past year, RCCC has gained a lot of new members, improving its weekly attendance numbers compared to previous years. "We have had a very good year thus far. We like seeing people come out and use the facility," said the club's Treasurer. There was a new RCCC President voted in earlier this year, bringing in a new face has freshened things up this year.  It has been a big step towards tapping into the hidden potential RCCC has over the next few years to reinstate its usefulness to the community. None of it would be possible without its members and those who have stayed close with the club over the years. RCCC Members also receive a $1 discount on shooting rounds, bringing the price to $5 a round instead of $6 each round. Ammunition is not provided or available for purchase.

As a bonus to being a member of the Rush County Conservation Club, you receive $2 off shotgun shells at Small Town Sports & Outdoors. Located at 597 E US Highway 52, Rushville, IN. RCCC memberships begin at $20 for a year.

The facility is available for events as well, including parties, receptions, retirements, graduations, and showers. With the influx of memberships, the RCCC board decided to upgrade a few appliances for easier operations.

If you are nowhere near Rush County or Indiana in general, then you are invited to like their Facebook page for updates, events, and reminders.
